Yeah pbb’s plot is mid, but which hoopa movie are you talking about because I’m 90% sure there’s only one where there’s also arceus in it a lot
I haven’t read anything past this point and you’ll probably take this reply with a grain of salt, but imo the story branches out pretty evenly into other cooler events and conflicts, albeit it may be generic at the start

Some ways I can think of already are the chief sending you to frostmill and iris mentioning Ravenna which gets you into the conflict with them

If aa was made in the present it would be good. And I would definitely say adventure forward. Simple plot and a decent twist, lovable characters and more. I wouldn’t say it’s fantastic but it’s a simple plot you would probably like.

It’s actually pretty interesting, but the way it’s done makes it pretty boring.
if the story had voice acting (far fetched I know, maybe just some more interesting way to present dialogue I guess?) and definitely better cutscene animations I would legit be more involved but… aw well.
