I love berserker but I struggle to make it work in pvp. I don’t want to be an 2.5k hp, attack size menace iron leg or a slippery, air stalling, shot spamming thermo fist user. Not only are these meta builds but they just aren’t fun for either party.
I enjoy using glass cannon builds as basic or sailor boxing.
I’d just like some advice on how to improve, play style changes, or different stats I should focus on.
erm im coping on juggernaut but that’s a different issue from berserker. However, I’m can’t decide between running either Elias or Cernyx gear - or maybe even both. Any feedback on this would be appreciated too
im not sure what else you’d like to do since the playstyles you listed out are the ones that naturally come from how melee moves are i.e. airstalling.
but yeah as meta said, if you go ultra aggressive using shockwaves at melee range and have a focus on attack speed you might find berserker more fun to play.
personally imo if you just mix and match elements of all those things; good aoe attacks, air stalling, ranged shot zoning, and aggressive shockwave usage, then youll be very adept and versatile if you learn when to use them depending on your opponent
im still mastering berserker but this vid is a decent showcase of how i use all those things (please only watch the 2nd fight at 4:40 the first one is a sloppy mess of delayed moves from server lag)
agility for berserker is a bit iffy right now, attack speed is far more beneficial overall than extra distance on your crashes and grabs (whats the point of having increased grab range if you arent even fast enough to reach your opponent in time)
if you really want to have some agility heres an example build i used to run for bounty hunting thats got a decent mix of the essential stats
if you need more agility just swap out the cerynx legs for elius ones (and use more hard enchants), going any further into agility past that would be detrimental imo
