it is 7 past 3 I need to get up for school in 2 hours and I cannot rest because I have homework but when I think about doing homework it causes stress and then so I decide to go on here to then post about it only for that to make get even more ridden between anxiety
Probably a mage with the same magic as the curse they get, since they would already be experienced in how to use it well (unless they’re a novice).
Depending on the Curse, it could be a straight boost in power while also complementing their way of combat.
Magic focused classes can likely utilize the ‘firepower’ part of their Curse a lot more due to their experience with spells before presumably obtaining the Curse. Seeing as how experienced Mages can shape their spells, I assume being a Mage before absorbing a curse would complement versatility.
Fighting Style classes would benefit most from Curses with devastating effects on contact, just imagine being rushed down with someone with say, the Acid Curse! A good example of this would be the (deceased) Ravenna General, Zaix, who utilized the Wave Curse AND martial arts. It’s a good combination on paper, as Wave Magic is said to drain magic energy, and using Martial Arts assumes the wielder is… you know, getting into CQC.
Weapon based classes kinda stump me. Perhaps when we get arcanium weapons they’ll shine brighter, since the only similar examples to a Weapon-Focused Sea Curse user is Morock Creed, specifically his wonky sword of white death. We do have a example of a weapon based Curse User, however, being General Avery Walker, who uses the Slash Curse (wind that can cut through objects easily) and is supposedly an excellent swordsman.
Just my take… also I’m unsure on vitality based Curse Users so don’t bother until Spirit Weapons come out.
