Best class to become a curse user?

Basically what class(es) has the best candidates for curse users? I figure its not any of the magic classes since once they get their hands on a curse a portion of if not all their previous skills become pretty useless. I figure the best option would be a warlord, but I dunno what do y’all think?

The most skilled would be mages seeing as curses are practically the same with magic except more true to their respective element and much more powerful.

The most potent would be berserkers, despite their small knowledge in magic they are a great candidate for a powerful curse user given that their original strength are not that much diminished compared to mages and if combined with a power of a curse would make them nigh unstoppable. Not saying it’s easy for them to handle a curse compared to mages.

savant frfr

Are they? Sure like as a baseline they’re similar but they’re different energies and curses don’t use magic circles like curses do. Even assuming that they are similar enough for mages to use their previous experience doesn’t that just give them a temporary head start that only lasts so long?

Savants but those without magic, curses are the elements themselves and having a curse means it becomes very strenuous to cast your magic, meaning mages lose their second or third magics

So you need a class with fs, weapons and vitality since the curse can boost all those things, so a vitality or strength savant would be good

too lazy to find source but
once you get a curse it becomes essentially the only thing you can use. regular magics and stuff get way more difficult & taxing.

I’ve seen it said about magic, but not the other skills unless you’re talking about aura in which case yeah. I don’t see why using fs or weapons would put a strain on a curse users body unless they tried to use aura with it.

For me, its really depends on what curse it is, like the slash curse, the slash curse is really good with blade so warriors, warlords, knights and savants are pretty good with it.

I think its Savant because of their versatility, like if a magma savant have the gravity curse, they can brutally combo the enemy, using the gravity curse to immobilzed the enemy to punch the living soul of them, sending them back but pull them back with the curse then impaling them with a spear before sending them up to the air and shooting a barrage of molten blasts

Can’t really use magic once you get a curse because curses have a different energy than magic and they conflict with each other. Aside from that though you’re making a lot of sense.

conjurer/warrior would be goated with a suitable imbue magic and a weapon suited to the curse
example: morocks sword (it was a GFC but you get the point)

no class because they all involve using magic (aura) and curses throttle that

but maybe warrior

I mean yeah, but the skills themselves still transfer over you just can’t use aura anymore

It’s in the description of the Mage, the mage studies the arcane arts meaning it takes a lot of time understanding magic and using it.

Magic isn’t just a tool for power, it has been shown many times that magic and technology (mainly magic circles) go hand in hand. Thus a Mage would understand how to use a curse more easier than a berserker or even a warlock would.

Though I think a savant is more suitable now that I think about it, since this class studies every field of combat in pursuit of more power.

My class because me

warrior
there are no downsides to taking a curse if you’re a warrior
yes, you probably won’t be able to use weapon aura as easily anymore, but instead of that you can imbue the curse into the weapon, which would arguably be a lot stronger.
You’re also able to avoid any negative effects that the curse has on you by simply only using the imbued weapon, like how Morock did.
You’d still be able to use all your skills with about the same effort as before (unlike magic, which takes a lot more effort since you’re body is now made out of a different magic energy, or fighting styles which basically use magic to enhance themselves at higher mastery)

technically, mage if the curse you absorbed was one of the magics you were using before absorption, otherwise warrior

This is the way I see it, elemental curses are generally better suited for mages since they have the prior casting knowledge while external curses are better suited for anyone else.

warlock or bereseker

why? do you think curses use casting? Do you see curses using magic circles? No; it’s willpower that is the controller of them

it is entirely beneficial to train the abilites of body before obtaining a curse due to the fact it’s replacing your magic once you get it to begin then

“Oh but but magic circles could have been made with willpower and it’s vague-”

to which I raise why would you in your depraved state of heightened insanity and mental degeneracy think once of going of your meth to go eat some apple

Warlock or Conjurer

the last sentence makes me think this was written by someone on crack
