My guy, ice can’t freeze without another magic and ash is only gonna freeze when we get ultimate arts or 2nd magics. Both of them remove less status effects than a weapon. Also melting is better than bleed, what don’t you get about that? You can also reapply bleed while they’re melting.
Also you can charge/jump out of freeze and petrified in .1 seconds.
Literally all that matters when choosing a magic when going weapons is what status effects it clears. Nothing else.
Snow or Magma are your best bets.

But why would you choose a magic that synergizes with bleed when you could go 100% with weapons and only use magic defensively?
I mean, Ice is a fair choice but Magma would always be best to use alongside weapons. It’s basically made for that.

I get that but using only weapons and no spells just doesnt work in the meta we have rn. But i do agree that magma is a really good choice for weapon mains, the extra dmg to bleeding targets and the status clearing is really good
