Best magic/hybrid build for poison magic

I was finding a build that can play kinda supportive for AA being that you can attack other and protect your islands, the magics being poison and healing (poison for DoT and area control with smoke clouds, and eventually healing magic to well, heal) but i want to know what the best magic/mage hybrid build would be best for this as im thinking conjuror for some arcanum close range benefits.

I’d say pure mage for poison for the sole reason that infused attacks won’t leave behind the clouds that poison relies on.
In the future vetex said they might be able to do that, but for now they don’t

probably paladin for the extra health, if youre going supportive you arent really worrying about close range attacks and you also want to be alive for the entirety of the fight so the extra health would help with that

Poison is probably the only magic that prefers paladin over the other hybrids. The 20 sec DoT and the area control from clouds gives it a unique chip damage/zoner playstyle where you want to try and outlast your opponent in a defensive matchup rather than an offensive one. Wind is the only magic that clears poison so against any other magic the play would be to apply your DoT and play passive for the next 20 seconds or until you can apply it again. The extra health from paladin helps the magic survive for longer while the poison drains the opponent’s health.
