Tell us your secrets
I just placed ground and then wheat on top of it, I dunno why the ground is sand and the wheat still grows on it, I thought that was kinda weird too
Still nothing crazy yet, but I built another tower filled to the brim with canons and mortars, and I expanded my farm and got some reagent pots up to start farming saint lilys. I think this little observation deck I made where I can look over my fields is pretty nice.
Is there somehow a bug that allows you to place wheat farms on top of sugar cane?
I didn’t put any wheat on top of sugar cane here so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. However, there is a glitch where you can place a farm on top of another farm if you click fast enough right after you place the first one. Never did that on purpose but there’d be times where I end up clicking a couple times to place something and a second farm ends up getting placed on top of another.
bro how the heck are you placing wheat in cassia bay
I dunno, the game never stopped me I just place it like normal
I honestly didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be able to til y’all started saying this
I’ve also been able to plant it there in separate servers as well so it’s not like it was a problem specific to just one instance. I’m just able to do it whenever I want
I call it, this guy’s a descendant of Gaia.
Feel like this would be more a Demeter thing, but yeah Gaia kinda works too.
did yall find out how to stack farms yet
I dunno if this is the same method you’re doing, but I know you can do it just by clicking really fast. I don’t do it on purpose though cause I figure it might be something you could get punished for. I know there’s at least one other thing you could do with building, something about covering the island in walls I think, that was punishable so I don’t wanna take chances. If it’s not against any rules though lemme know.
im doing the raised surface method
Does anyone know why I can’t seem to connect my t4 gate to my t4 wall, it keeps saying it’s obstructed whenever it snaps to it. It’s only able to go on if I put it on backwards which I don’t want to do.
I had the same issue. Do the bottoms of your walls clip into the floor at all? Try turning off snap points and moving the gate to the same spot where it would have snapped, and see what height it goes to. That’ll tell you.
alright I’ll try that
Yeah okay nothing was working so I was kinda forced to resort to removing the previous walls and starting again from the gate. It’s not a big area I need to cover and I hadn’t made it that far so it’s fine.
Yeah t4 is just built like that, try and knock down the gate, place three walls in a straight line where it used to be, then knock down the two walls that are where the gate was, then put a new gate there.
