Bio's Development Log

Could there be an issue with the skip button? When I press it sometimes it randomly gives something else entirely (it could show 1.5 and give 2.97 or
5) maybe cause I spam skip

Happy birthday silly, you’ve lived another year!

Happy birthday, Bio!!

silly birthday happy

has your birthday been happy

Going strong for another year!

Thanks Cel :D!

Much so you thank

It’s been awesome. I’m finally free from one of the things stressing me, but now the future seems endless. I guess decision paralysis is real.

Not sure if I should put this here or not, but since the forum was down and I don’t know if everyone is in the discord, I thought I would put this here since it seems like bio won’t be back for a while. If I shouldn’t have put it here then uhh… well that’s issue for me in the future sorry about that.

i am obligated to inquire about this plugin you found

oooh! really cool stuff! looks good already; absolutely loving how unique the cube one is

also rq since you mentioned VFX I would 100% recommend you check out AFR. It’s VFX heaven and honestly my favorite example to show people what VFX can be and to inspire them

and i will be eavesdropping

Absolutely!
The plugin is called Lumina, it’s a node based plugin similar to blender that lets you work with VFX. Best part about it is that it’s completely free, and can be found in the plugin store here:

Dev forum post:

The only sad part is that it hasn’t been updated in a while :/…

Today’s stuff:

Earthly sphere

If anyone has any suggestions, I’ll try my best to make it

If this is meant to be earth-based, then it looks more like Gale Sphere, though the move name has nothing to do with “land” (earthly sphere) and so is the move’s visual.

Let’s assume the move is about the “world” (or planet) based on the word “Earthly”; in that case, emphasis on making the move more “worldly” should be better, maybe by making the wind surrounding the sphere be less powerful/visible, so more focus is on the planet (the sphere) itself.
