Bird Chirps Are The Whispers In Whispering Wood [ THEORY ]

As you all have known, whispering woods has bird chirps ambience in it and considering the forest is called whispering woods, you should be able to hear whispers in it right? But all you’ll hear day and night is the birds chirping, and that’s the answer to what the whispers are in the whispering woods.

So I know what you all may be thinking, how the hell is a bird chirp sound like a whisper? The answer to your question is that if you try to slow down the bird’s chirps, you’ll find out that they’ll start to sound as whispers. Coincidence? I think not. The reason why I think it’s named whispering woods as well is related to the chirps. As you all may have noticed, there are times when we start to imagine time is moving slower or faster and I think this is what causes the chirps to become whispers since when people imagine time is moving slower, so will the chirps to the point it’ll sound like a whisper.

I cant provide the audio file in here since I dont know how to save an edit on sound files so I pretty much just slowed it down when recording the chirps like how you can slow down the speed on youtube videos. Anyways you can do this for yourself and hear it.

Lots of stuff sound funky slowed down. I believe I know the answer, not sure if this is the exact answer, though if you don’t want to read to theorize even more I’ll leave ya to it.

Potential Spoilers

The bird chirps you here are supposed to be the spirits of those executed at the Silent Tower, which is at the center of the forest. Silent Tower is said to hold some of the worst criminals across Magius and is one of the few places they are executed. It is likely some of them who were executed were able to take on a new form, whether that be through the birds or as spirits.
