a record of me slowly figuring out roblox studio throughout the day (with a great help from jtn’s and noah)
whatever ghost compelled me to rewrite morden’s journal in my physical journal is the same ghost who drove me to draw morden every day back then :d
most of the contents are pretty much the same as Morden’s in-game journal, however there are some tweaks and improvisions as i go

Picked up the journal right when I came to Palo Town, to document my day to day experiences. It seems odd after what happened to Ben, I figured it’s better I keep a log incase I somehow develop amnesia too. Although I’ve been through far less experimentation, I just don’t want to take any chances. This also serves as a further proof against those accursed human trash that experimented on us.
I miss Tucker. I miss my family. I’m tired of losing people.
19/10/1854
No leads.
20/10/1854
Visited Tucker again.
I still can’t believe he’s gone. He always knew what to do and was borderline genius with his plans. I still can’t believe we managed to escape… It makes me miss him all the more. I hope Ben is doing well, we used to be good friends before the amnesia. At least he’s more talkative now, and hopefully happier…
Rest in peace, Tucker.
21/10/1854 - Returned to Palo. Still no leads.
22/10/1854 - None today.
23/10/1854
I should stop coming here so frequently. I’ll get distracted and lose sight of what I need to do for everyone else stuck like we were. It’s just so hard…

Spotted a ship with hooded figures and a strange, unfamiliar symbol.
I’ll follow close behind but not out of sight. Hope there’s some lead.
25/10/1854
It docked at Fort Talos. Not good.
I won’t be able to get there unless I come up with some kind of a plan. I need to know what that symbol was.
26/10/1854
Rented a room at Sailor’s Lodge. I don’t know where to go from there.
31/10/1854
A lot happened.
I met Ben at Sailor’s Lodge. That symbol belongs to the Order of Aesir. They captured some guy named Beringer for the location of a powerful curse. It makes my skin crawl thinking of what they might use that power for, especially with what Ben told me about the ambush in Cirrus Island and the Order’s history…
[Order of Aesir’s symbol, captioned with “kind of like this…”]
I told him about the ship docking at Fort Talos and we agreed to sneak in there together.
Beringer was there, and he’s in such a horrible state. He gave me the directions to the Death Curse.

Right now, I’m sailing there. I need to get there before the Order.
Man, I’m way over my head.
I don’t know why he chose to tell me of all people. I mean, he’s practically dying. I don’t know how he’s still alive hung up like that. He probably had no choice. Still, I only happened to find him there. I don’t know if I’ll make it out alive. I don’t feel equipped with such an important quest. I only have a sailboat and a dream. Fuck me.
He said he saw something in me. I hope he’s right and saw something I don’t see in me.

The weather is beyond fucked. I’m getting near.
If I die here, everyone I know and the seas are fucked by this Death Curse.
It’s so damned hard to navigate with a broken compass. Not to mention the very, VERY BIG FUCKING SHADOW BENEATH MY SHIP.
I’m beyond fucked.
3/11/1854
I found the Curse.
The area reeked of dead fish and… death. I’ve smelled something similar before, and it brought back memories that I’d prefer to live without. The water, somehow, was crystal clear despite the smell—that came from the black ichor aura from the hovering cube.
It felt like I was staring into an abyss, where death lies beyond, so close, that I could easily reach death

I was shivering the whole time. But I can’t let the Order take it. So I took it for myself.
It was painless, cold, calm, and absolute. For a moment, I saw a glimpse of death.
When I snap myself away from it, the coldness still runs through my veins the way it never was before.
I don’t know if it’d get warmer.
I’ve stopped shaking.
My mind feels blurry, like I’m losing myself piece by piece. I don’t know. This doesn’t feel like me.
Am I still the same person? I’m scared.
But I have to make things right.

I couldn’t find Ben anywhere in Ravenna. He’s gone missing.
Please stay alive. I can’t lose the last friend…
7/11/1854
Met Ben’s new friends, who were looking for him too.
[Crude drawing of Neviro. ← white (points at hair) ← Red. Literally glared at me like that. (points at eye)
his eye color was cool though
Neviro.
Barely says anything.]
[Crude drawing of Iris with three people being burnt alive. ← redhead (points at hair)
Iris.
A ticking bomb.]
Where did Ben find them???

I got to know both of them better and I can see why Ben took a liking of them. They’re extremely capable, and they’ve been sneaking around and eavesdropping on every patrol squad they can find.
Apparently, there’s a newly captured prisoner who was caught by Ravenna’s General Julian. They were taken away in a critical condition too, so it couldn’t be anyone else…
I have a score to settle with that general Julian.

Going dark temporarily to prepare for the resque mission. We need better gear, a proper plan, and a map of whatever this Eternal Mines is.
Just hold on a little longer, Ben. We’re coming to help you. I know you’ve been through worse, so I have faith that you’d make it out alive.
Update when able.

- Magnus (blonde one)
- Constans (brown haired one)
- Victor (white haired one)
- Therasia (green haired one)
in case you guys want to read about everyone's whole deal. tldr: cult toxic yuri fest
for a brief summary for these four’s story
- Victor was this heroic figure fighting for her hometown, fighting against Magnus’ cult.
- Victor was defeated by Magnus in the fight.
- Due to Victor’s potential, Magnus brought Victor back to her cult as the new recruit.
- Therasia was the lady who nursed Victor back to life, who may or may not have plans to steal Victor’s organs. While Constans, as the cult’s teacher, teaches her the ropes to the cult while indoctrinating her.
- Victor becomes pretty broken after the event above, so Magnus uses this opportunity to manipulate Victor into becoming a fine sparring rival.
- After this point, the story vibes I have for them is pretty much… grim. Not yet a complete tragedy (unless you count Victor’s defeat to be one), just pretty dark all around.
In case you guys want a feel for the initial story I have for them, you can read it here!
They look really cool! Constans kind of gives me Odile vibes from In Stars and Time.
