Bosses stamina

anyone else think that bosses cough cough allanon, should have some kind of stamina mechanic so they cant constantly spam moves, we cant so why can they, or make it so any dmg can eventually stagger them

now you see that would be a good and fair idea unfortunately vetex is coding in realistic reloading because he saw how badly grave/digger added the kingslayer and wanted to follow suit

…but you can spam moves though
sure, you gotta alternate to get the best results, but so do bosses usually

The difference is boss have map wide damage with more health and mobility than player

idk man maybe it’s just a skill issue, get more defense

Metal resist aura + metal resist enchantment

Even though we can spam our spells, theres some big differences between players and bosses;
-They dont care if they die, they will just kamikaze at you, taking advantage of the HP pool
-The HP difference, this makes a hit from a boss can be 3 times more harmfull to the player, than if said hit was dealt by the player to the boss
-They dont have to manage their stamina/energy through the fight, nor worry about the holes made in the arena.

Didn’t AA bosses have energy too?

Either:

-Make bosses get tired after using many attacks, where they “recover” for like 2-3 seconds (not the ideal solution because you could just keep dashing around until they reach downtime which would be hella boring
-Make it happen after you get enough chip-damage in (similiar logic to the hidden poise meter maybe?) also is the best solution i think, where you need to use some of your quick attacks to deal damage inbetween the boss’ attacks so you actually get rewarded for being active, instead of playing passively
-Make stun/slow synergies actually stun bosses for their duration

Bosses in general should have some downtime, so that you can actually go cqc and get a good dmg output, and for the love of god, FIX BOSS MOVESTACKING. Its so annoying when 1 more person attacks the boss you are fighting and all of a sudden they teleport around the place and use 3x the attacks at once.

The design of current bosses is Big AOE spam that span the whole arena. The only one I can forgive is King Caesar cuz you cant really say you cheese him. Sure spam ranged is done against him but he actually a good boss design.

Leviathan, Jarl and Allanon is not. Allanon personally is forgiveable at least for me, but not Leviathan and Jarl. Wtf you mean the guy can spam 2 arena wide move

I fought him for half an hour only for him to reset completely when he was at below 1k health, are you especially keen on having biological children?

the only real con with ceasar is the amount of health he has making the fight a drag, otherwise fairly good boss design

And the fact he can randomly reset in the middle of the fight for no reason at all

I’ve never had that problem honestly, i just keep attacking & hitting him while staying within the crater area

So do you just eat the sword explosions?

im on the opposite side of the crater, or up on the edges

On real note, you need to keep damaging him. Its not random. Random is like Allanon.
