Currently, you get bounty hunt protection if you manage to kill someone who tried to hunt you. I suggest extending this to being successfully hunted, and also to give it for two minutes upon spawning in. You also are unable to gain or lose renown to pvp in any capacity while hunt protection is enabled. If you’re in a clan, this protection also prevents infamy gain or loss from PvP. You can willingly end the hunt protection early by picking up a bounty or kill contract.
Reason to add/change
I believe this change should be added for two reasons. One, sometimes people pass by you and gank you while you’re just spawning into the game. Two, it prevents the act of farming a single player over and over, which is an issue sometimes. Overall, this helps protect the people who are most vulnerable to things like this, and also helps protect the people from unfair renown loss on spawn.
might aswell go all the way and also make this protection prevent galleon drops from PvP for its duration to really make fight the people that are protected completely and utterly useless.
People camping the ravenna spawns waiting for people to spawn in should not be rewarded in any extent.
I think you should immediately lose the protection of you accept a bounty, as it’s rather unfair to be able to hunt others without being huntable yourself.
The bounty hunt protection already exists in the game, but only if you fend off someone after your renown. However it works there should be how it works with this, but I probably should have amended the post saying that you also can’t pvp hunt if you have hunt protection. One sec, editing.
