Arcanium weapon conducting someone else’s curse? 
Since you can permanently imbue arcanium weapons, it would make sense for powerful curse users to do that and give them out as rewards to people who aren’t quite good enough to get their own curse but still deserve something regardless.

Pretty sure you still can’t unless you’ve used it for so long it conforms to your magic(morock sword or frost water bow) unless something was changed and arcanium metal immediately permanently becomes fused to your magic(dear god meta help)

devil fruits do none of these things, the only similarities they share are the fact there is 1 of each type, and the user can turn their body into it

but they’re literally objects that give you powers and if you touch seawater you can’t swim
no offense but to the untrained eye that’s kinda what a devil fruit is

you can swim in regular water though, the reason they cant go in the ocean is due to the magic energy from durza’s attack conflicting with the magic of the curse user. If you wanna call them devil fruits then ok i guess, but that’s basically ignoring half of the things curses do that devil fruits don’t

oh okay you’re correct:
so a more accurate description for sea curses would basically be like devil fruits if they made you crazy and you could still take a bath
except they don’t make you crazy, they make you immortal, alter your emotions to take on the properties of the curse, and the things i mentioned above

re-read what i wrote, devil fruits do none of these things so you cannot consider them the same. This is like the same logic people use when saying “AO is a deepwoken copy” because they both have water and boats. Calling Curses “just devil fruits” is basically a lie because of the numerous differences. Yes, they have similarities, and yes, curses were based on devil fruits originally, but calling them that now is just misinformation
