Wow. So while Calvus does indeed love Revlon, he’s also shaping him to his image to keep up all the evil shit. Hiding the fact that their grandfather committed genocide, Calvus joining the Order for more power, and kidnap or falsely imprison people, whether it be Winterveil survivors hiding or seeking justuce, or people who know of a Sea Curse’s location, then killing them.
Poor Revlon’s gonna need some much needed, non-gaslighting love and therapy as soon as possible, before he becomes AO’s final boss just like Calvus 
Makes me think… Does Revlon by any chance view Calvus as some kind of father-figure-like person? If Octavious apparently died when they were both young and since Revlon is the little brother would he look up to Calvus in such a way just to fill in that void?

Might be actually, I have a feeling as they are just the two of them, they rely on each other, especially revon since he is the just a young questioning teenager needing to face running a kingdom from a young age after calvus. It’s the kind of situation when even though he trusts his brother he says “Although I think It may be bad, I know my brother and he’ll never do that. Brother knows better then me” older, wiser.
