Also I’d like to add how much I love your depiction of the Brotherhood of Balance. They’re a vigilante group killing influential but corrupt figures, but unlike the player’s vigilantism, their ideals are extremely flawed, as there is never a good reason for them to do this but: “Justice yay” and ruining their own lives for it. That’s borderline senseless killing with consequences, and I love it.
If you dive deep into it, the Brotherhood of Balance aren’t contract killers like the Assassins, so they’re probably dirt poor af.
I’m sure they have a balanced income.

I’m so happy you caught this. Since vetex takes a lot of inspiration from the assassin’s creed games I figured the B.O.B functions alot like the Hidden Ones. Their members disregard everything about their former lives, even their names, for the greater good upon initiation.
B.O.B knows they have no place in society since they’re hunted by both navy and syndicate. Our MC here still thinks he could live a normal life but soon learns the hard truth as he breaks down (was already mentally disturbed to begin with).
