Calisthenics?

My friend told me he has never done any basic calisthenics so I wondered how many people do.

At max I’ve done
100 Push-ups
200 Sit ups
200 squats or around that

i don’t do sit ups or no weight squats but
my 1 set max for push ups is 60
100 is insane

Quite bold of you to assume I can do 1 push up

my max pushups is 30 I feel like a weak fool fr

my max pushups is somewhere near 30 I think, which I’m fine with given what I’m going for. Typically I just do stretches

Do a 10km run every too

It also depends on how much you weigh, so if you’re on the heftier side due to height or something then it’ll be harder for you to do them. We also don’t know their form and if they’re doing them right.

i can do like 50 max

Don’t do sit ups, but I have a 5 minute plank for core with no weight (my hands give out at 5 minutes), around 70 seconds with 80 kgs on my back (core gives out first)

Push ups are 44 with no weight, around 10-12 for 20 kgs and negative control.(Yes my hands are very weak and give out before my chests does).

Squats is around 50-70 with 50 kgs, around 300 with no weight

Is 44 pushups for 64kg weight guy good then?

Idk, I’d say that’s alright

Depends on your form.

40 proper push-ups in a row without stopping is genuinely incredible, but most people don’t do anywhere near proper push-ups.

Source: have taken 3 different martial art classes across 2 states with over 50 participants in total. Less than half of them do proper push-ups.

Well, I know my form is correct, elbows don’t flare too much about 45-50 degree (according to my sister), my body stays straight, my hands are kept at shoulder width, my legs also stay slightly apart from each other, and I do controlled push ups, 3 seconds down and 1 second up. Chest almost touches the ground, and my face is looking upright , infront. I think that is proper posture.
