It has been some 2 years since balance team started balancing for ao. In this time, they have shown us that they are wholly incapable of making consistent, good changes for the game. Players cannot, and should not accept this ‘buff-nerf’ cycle wherein something is released and gutted and nerfed to the ground within a week, with something getting a 40% nerf when 10% wouldve sufficed. It is beyond ridiculous that this is the quality of balancing we are to expect after years of expereince balancing by bteam. (Vetex is also part of the problem, vetoing good changes.)
Urgent changes to bteam organisation must be made, becauase this is ridiculous.
When I heard they were making a separate server for balancing i thought it was going to be community oriented, then I saw that most of the changes were just pushed through at the sole demand of a few players who were on a “balance team”. I don’t know how anyone could’ve thought it was a good idea
It takes like 10 seconds of math to realise that maybe 65/65 for warlords is bad. If they cant even realise this before inputting the change, what can we expect? A hotfix for a hot fix every update?
