We know that oracles in the future will have the ability to actually make real objects, instead of the imitations magics produces. therefore, theoretically, could an oracle in possession of spirit weapons from say, hephaestus and Prometheus summon a nuclear bomb? its not an unreal amount of material, its just arranged in a specific way that makes it particularly powerful.

well I’m not talking about in game this is a hypothetical, unless vetex happens to give another dev who particularly likes vitality a spec, I don’t think “Hephaestus’s nuclear bomb launcher 9000” is getting added
The way I see, while the rites may have limits, the Olympians wouldn’t want mortals having too much power. I don’t think legacies, mortals who can manipulate spirit energy, would have those same limits.
Given the fact that Oracles, with a spirit weapon, are able to summon real lightning. Implies that they have some degree of microkinesis, or control over the different atomic forces (weak, strong, ect.) Meaning it’s probable that a legacy (who’s able to manipulate spirit energy without a spirit weapon) could split an atom. Curse Users are also likely capable of similar feats, given that they are capable of creating matter (may be wrong about that, but how else would Wotan make his ships?)
well I’d assume that canonically, the real limiter would be creation. its just some spirit weapons are naturally more powerful.
its like curses, sure a lost magic curse is naturally stronger than a base magic, but an extremely proficient base magic curse user can outscale a lost magic curse user
I was more implying that spirit weapons would be limited to whatever rites the Olympian which blessed it imbued it with. Meaning that spirit weapons would be somewhat less versatile than magic, unless one is able to innately manipulate spirit energy and create new rites. I think that makes sense?
well this comes down to the question of are rites canon, considering weapon skills aren’t, I honestly don’t know

I mean if one has any form of atomic manipulation, especially with how intuitive a lot of the magic system seems (I know we’re talking about spirit energy but it’s still a form of magic.) If the legacy/oracle is able to visualize the particles they’re manipulating, they’ll be able to see the bonds holding them together, and given the fact they can manipulate electrons (natural lightning) it’s not that far a stretch to imagine they’d be able to break those bonds. Which would cause fission.

They don’t even need a weapon or a curse, again they’re able to summon lightning. With enough practice it’s probable they’d be able to break atomic bonds without the prerequisite knowledge of fission.
