why are ya’ll struggling so hard against them???
I promise you it is not that hard to sink them, and if, for some reason, you can’t, they are NOT fast!
Speed really does not matter when they never despawn and you have to deal with an invincible sentient boat that has no crew to operate it endlessly chase you down and has a mortar on it that inexplicably will deal like 20% of your boat’s HP with an AoE so buggy and huge it doesn’t even matter if you try turning away from it
then sail close around an island and get it trapped.
sail through a sunken forest, they’re annoying enough that players including myself find them annoying, NPCs are just not going to make it out.
there are so many ways to handle them lol.
Right because the brigs won’t just repair themselves magically after they use pathfinding to sink your boat
You haven’t argued as to why they shouldn’t be removed btw
I did actually, they’re a good source of loot.
atlantean essences are worth a decent bit, and with islands rarer than ever and thus atlanteans being rarer than ever, I see more atlanteans from ships than on islands, and the ship ones are a whole hell of a lot easier to kill.
Where’s that gif of the ants just staring at the camera because this is exactly how I feel right now
How… the fuck… are you getting brigs with crews on them that don’t fall off due to them not being anchored onto the actual ship
That’s what I’m saying, I don’t know how ya’ll are getting brigs that do all that nonsense lol.
I’ve never once seen a brig do ANY of the things you say they do lol.
As far as I’m concerned, they’re just weak ass normal NPC ships that a couple volleys of heavy explosive shells will get out of my way.
Free ship supplies, dare I say.
Like I see one and immediately command my crew to repair because I’ll be able to restock on supplies real quick lol.
We aren’t playing the same game then end of story
I crash into them the same second they spawn, they take out nearly half my ships health when i turn to sail away
They are a problem, they wouldn’t be a problem if they actually spawned with some distance
I disagree, nothing touches my heart more than when an atlantean brig from i1 dedicatedly comes with me all the way to i4, through krakens, tornadoes and whirlpools, just to sink my ship 20 meters from epicenter
If there’s problems with a feature, the problems should be fixed, the feature doesn’t have to be deleted.
May chaos smite where you stand
you fool, I do this intentionally all the time to blow things up because its funny!
hilariously I have not once used this to actually kill anything.
All I want from atlantean ships is for them to give up… Why must they chase you for all eternity
True.
Eh.. True.
They follow you constantly, which I’m really surprised isn’t more hated, as you can travel to the Epicenter and they’d follow.
Granted the further ranges of the Dark Sea weren’t really meant for us yet, makes sense to why they do so much damage, but then again, why even implement them in said further ranges?
Overall, rework how they follow you through the Dark Sea, make them lose you after either some time or distance.
Why do you agree with all my points and then give the suggestion 2 stars ![]()
Because I don’t believe it should be removed, rather reworked.
Not every single feature Vetex makes deserves saving to be honest
I’d vote but the problem is I never see these, and when I do they are quite weak
