I came across this filthy mage who literally just made a sky base with barrier, construct, and path. It was so high up that I couldn’t reach them and I couldn’t get them down. I ended up just getting chipped to death by arrays, clones and beams that they sent down. They didn’t even have to engage with the fight and just got away with it. It doesn’t even have to be an air movement slot. I just want any change to the construct or path spells that doesn’t allow something to take place.
Can we make path and construct take up an air movement slot so that this shit doesnt happen

Construct and path already consume 1 air movement charge, and standing on magic constructs (path, construct, barrier) doesn’t regen air movement, so you cant rlly seem to air stall infinitely with them
however, after testing it myself, I found that barrier is probably the likely culprit here!! with enough intensity you can cast the barriers under you in mid-air, stand on them until their duration is nearing its end, t-jump, throw them down again, and repeat infinitely since barrier consumes absolutely no air movement. it’s kind of disgusting

High enough size (or attack destruction I think?) can destroy constructs and such

I also thought that at first but unfortunately they’re indestructible until their duration is up, which is a shame since it could’ve given attack destruction another use case
high destruction does destroy contructs. a metal mage can use construct and then destroy it below themself with surge.
Oh, then hooray!! I didn’t know that since i’ve never had mine broken before, do u know if the same happens for barrier?
barrier is unbreakable as far as i know

Cannon. Literally any class with magic can use this
Javelin. More expensive cannon
Greatjump. YOU’RE A FUCKING WARLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!!!
Sit in a corner. Ely arena is the size of texas, wait in a corner so they have to either come down or slowly get to you, switch corners ad infinitum until malding
They’re a non-mage, you can’t expect intelligence there.

Like, how could I ever expect to see the Skyblock Mage build?
Maybe instead of not being usable, perhaps it gets weaker if you have 0 air movement and you just kinda go through your barrier? It will still allow usage of this, but it punishes people tryna height stack with the usage of barrier.
