Can we make the rules of how rfao works more clearly established and visible

Ive lost count of how many times people have

  1. Blatantly disregarded the rules of rfao and yapped in it
  2. Gotten mad over people replying to patch notes over it being yapping
  3. Clueless newgens yap in it and we gotta lecture them

Something like one of those little blue mod thingamajigs (the ones thag look like the new/returning user boxes, i cant find any right now) attached to rfao and any future rfao parts could probably make it more orderly

just make it patchnotes/very relevant stuff only
i dont want to see people’s reactions to it, thats why we have a separate thread

Hello new gen here, i didn’t even know there were rules to it, just unspoken expectations.
Do please lemme know of the rules so i don’t break them in the future please.

its in the first post of the thread, just use the scroller

Thank you

isnt the rules marked as completed on the rfao topic?

Yeah but the vast majority of new users get to rfao through the links in patch notes discussion and dont see it, i dont know why this happens, but an indicator would be nice

Also the fuck you mean “tldr for those who didnt read any of them” where are they listed???

yeah thats how i got there

I’d rather have Maple’s Thread Rules post as the Solved comment rather than a baby-rage crash out. It gets to the point and you don’t have to sift through a post that’s 5% helpful and 95% meltdown to figure out what not to do.

alright i marked maples topic as the solution for rfao

theres no option for us to make some sort of indicator all the time on the topic.
if someone breaks rfao rules, please kindly link the new solution for the topic

if they continue to break the rules, flag all posts that break the rules
