This is gonna be so fun lol
for fs users
- Distract the boosted mage guild member
- Hit them with a devious vanishing fist combo
@Rayman_Axel @Crimsonpants thoughts on this feature since you both got access to it
its not even in tu yet
wuh
why’d he slap it in the trello if it aint technically pushed to the game-
then update us here when it drops in tu please
I though he uploads last, prior to sleeping.
-this works off the assumption that the entire class won’t have all of it’s numbers changed to account for this, along with other possible changes to make it work
presumably this is so that power as the best stat in the entire game (always consistent and impossible to nerf other than just reducing the amount armour gives) doesn’t get even more required, and to give attack speed a use that is less likely to be nerfed literally every other patch. Also again major assumption that the rest of fighting styles isn’t getting other changes that accommodate this change/the rest of how the game works possibly that we’re yet to hear about.
once again: have you ever even thought of the fact that maybe, just maybe, the game’s combat is getting a large change such that poise breaking is a balanced and acceptable mechanic?? It’s not impossible to do that yknow. Just let it fucking be shown off in a patreon post or something at the bare gosh damn minimum
-Only Fighting Styles nerf that we know of currently. You’re complaining over a non-issue that simply hasn’t been finished yet. It would be like complaining about only being able to type quartermaster commands in chat because they removed the interaction options for it in the same patch notes and they haven’t yet posted about the logbook as the replacement. Let them actually finish the change.
tl;dr stop fucking complaining about an unfinished change yet.
for me to let out all of my just general distaste for you:
Remember children, it's only ad hominem if they're using it instead of an argument while arguing, rather than just insulting someone to insult them.
All I ever see you do is either just… be there… in a discussion while not ever really doing anything, or complaining. “Roses are red Violets are blue remove agility it’s a shit stat that does nothing good for the game”. That’s genuinely all I know you for. I disagree with the flat-out removal of agility given that it feels like just done out of hatred for having lost a fight against someone using it (don’t talk to me about “required to be able to pvp” stats because I have some opinions you’d consider to be far more disagreeable with relating to power and defence than my stance on agility is), because I always see arguments that seem to be really easy to solve, like “but they can run away from a bounty fight they started!” (just implement dash exhaustion if you’re the one running away from a fight, and do not have it expire when back in the acceptable range immediately. “It makes pvp far too airborne and mosquito builds ruin the game!” This is a biiit strawman-like but this is just what I interpret your arguments like. To answer this one: It’s literally just a different style of combat let the game change what it’s like. Alternatively, just have agility scale down if you spend a lot of time in the air, or increase energy costs when using enough skills without touching down (just make it something like 3 skills or something I really don’t see any issues here). But that’s besides the point. As I had previously said in this thread: It just feels like everyone hates change. People hated how agility changed the game’s combat when it was buffed, people hated the sheer concept of Vetex trying to change the game’s combat to be more grounded, as my thread talking about the concept and asking for opinions proved, people hate the energy changes for no reason because they think Vetex is incapable of understanding how to make a game be fun to play when he’s trying an experimental change that hasn’t seen the light of release and has months of tester feedback to perfect with, and now the cycle just repeats with people, again, complaining about an unfinished change that hasn’t been shown off at all other than a patchnote that will be getting more changes to make it work better. Let the game change for fucks sake, it’s fun to try new things. All I see of you is just someone that is the worst parts of the pvp community in one: completely disregards other people with differing opinions (not once have I ever tried to make bait with my agility views), complains about every single unreleased change to the game, complains about parts of the games and says they ruin the entire game because you just don’t like them, and all in all, you’re just insufferable to me. I greatly dislike your current presence on the forums, you should change, and finally, quit fucking whining about every little unreleased unfinished thing that you don’t like the sound of.
Learn to be able to try a change before immediately having very hostile opinions on it.
crazy how u spent like an hour writing that and i’m not even gonna read it
just another fuckass pvp freak who can’t stand a tiny change to his arcane odyssey
ad hominem ez
i’ve tried to discuss things with you civilly before (see agility removal)
not falling for the bait again
Overall we will just have to wait and see, the sheer amount of content added to the game makes the result of this entirely unpredictable. There’s not really a point arguing over this right now. If it does, however, end up being horrible, the balance team should get on it (unless another mistral incident happens)
“Remember children, it’s only ad hominem if they’re using it instead of an argument while arguing, rather than just insulting someone to insult them.”
this is exactly my main point im trying to say here
Maybe… apologise. 'd you consider that ?
well you did it in a really shit way lmao good job
Alright but that’s a bit excessive for hitstun, especially with how the current combat is
I could be stupid but I’ve only seen it work in games like ER
well maybe how combat currently is isn’t what it will be with this new rework
I don’t know how this change will work with the T-jump removal though
Cause we all know that’s happening
