I think you can. Saw a youtube video showing off Water imbued thermo that dealt both scald and thermos regular burn.
You can, but cauterize deals more damage than scald I think
It works with Snow thermo too I main it

So it scalds AND burns? Powerful.
Its just like fire thermo fist because now fire thermo does 50% more on burning but Cold magic thermo is getting nerfed due to 2 dots but you get 2 Burnings
