Thats because they are roblox items, if vet
had to make moving capes he would also have to replace the models with something made entirely by him or whoever does the modelling
i don’t know if this one counts but phoeyu (GPO’s dev) capes used to be still models before he animated the old models without remaking them. its not an example from the roblox catalogue sure but they were stills regardless so i am pretty sure it’s possible. the difficulty of it though i have no idea about
It will require vetex to actually use blender or require him to hire someone to do this,
Deepwoken and some other games has it and it works just fine (i think)
Although if it will somehow impact on optimization then vetex will have to make local script that will load cape’ (or cloth’) animations and setting to turn it on or off
But anyway, would be cool to see this feature to be added
Not sure how feasible this is given the game’s current optimization and Vetex’s work ethic but I’m not gonna hate on a suggestion just 'cause it’s infeasible. It would be cool but it probably wont happen.
i don’t really think it would affect low-end PCs that much considering another game that implemented this (GPO) managed to implement it with little to no lag/FPS drops. however vetex is not pho so idk how he would implement it (assuming he would at all) and how it would affect the gameplay on low-end PCs
tbh you can simple importe models into blender and then rig them for animation (tho animating them is gonna be something selse if we look at the animations in the game)
