Cargo and shift lock

You guys think we should be able to turn on shift lock while holding cargo?
Personally, I’d rather it be on so I can make those precise placements more easily and maximize usage of my ships space.

Not from what I can tell, I’ve been pressing shift lock while holding it, and when I grab cargo I get taken out of shift lock.

yeah, its really annoying and it happens with everything you hold: Cargo, sealed chests and even camp

the game deliberatrly takes you out of shift lock and doesnt let you enable it again while holding an object, for what i only assume is to prevent you from clipping it through things?

As far as I’m concerned I could turn on shift lock while holding a camp marker
