The recent update added an ability to “unload” items on your ship. However, for Cargo, you still have to buy the crates manually one by one first. So in addition to there being a “q” option to buy a crate, there should be an “e” option that would start a cargo run. It would open up a little interface where you’d choose the amount of crates you want to buy, and then your crew would start buying them with your galleons. Just a simple quality of life change to make cargo runs even less tedious.

I am worried that if cargo runs achieve such simplicity, gaining galleons will become too easy and mess up the trade communities of A.O.

Galleon inflation x infinity

unless your going to add a timer where loading 1 crate = 30 seconds

I dunno about this one. It makes cargo runs too easy. And if it’s TOO easy, it becomes unbalanced, you know?

I think this would trivialize cargo too much. IMO cargo needs a rework to actually be a difficult and fun task instead of a way to flip money over time, since balancing a grind is not easy. but that might come in the later seas.

To give the benefit of the doubt, this might work if the distance between towns is longer. However this would be annoying for everyone for no reason. If cargo buy and sell locations were lengthened and separated from towns somehow then maybe this QOL would be fine.

Yeah nah, at that point it’s just automated to a ridiculous degree.

V: Okay here’s a burger, now I’ll get back to making the cake
C: This burger doesn’t have the right sauce
V: Oh well
C: Fix the sauce
V: In a bit, I need to finish this Cake
C: Fix it
V: Fine. I got the right sauce for you. Now let me finish the cake

ong bro trying to make cargo literally pressing some buttons

nah. think about sealed chests, you still need to load them one by one

idk why y’all keep saying it’s too simple, unloading and reloading still takes time :skull:

Yes, but it’s time that can be spent doing literally anything else. I could be doing quests while unloading, hunting down bounties, grinding bosses, playing on my phond.
Think about the impact on the market because of this. Galleons are now less than worthless. If I can just rock up to Ravenna, press a button, do anything else for like 3 minutes, sail to Frostmill, press a second button, and duplicate my galleons, where is the work or fun in that?
XP can now be earnt at the click of 2 buttons. You need what, 250 galleons to level up once? Then you can level up twice. Then four times. Then eight. Sixteen, etc. It would be too easy.

They should just make cargo harder. Example, pirates hunt you down more depending on how much cargo you have.

You have summoned the suggestions regulars.

And somehow pissed them off immediately.

Your location has been revealed!

I can agree on this idea somewhat since both me and probably a lot of players might have thought of it

It will probably make cargo runs a bit too op and might make getting galleons too easy, unless it literally takes longer to do it this way than to do it by hand. AlSo the option to steal cargo shouldn’t be included with this change if that would happen

Why am I not allowed to delete this? It was a simple suggestion that I gave very little thought and as it turns out people don’t like it. I 100% understand the reasoning everyone has so I just want to delete it but nope
