tbh your suggestion sounds like the arcanium weapon casting but more like.. for mage, staffs and tomes or the orb arent weapons by itself, but ig your suggestion could work better if you change it to “magic stuff” or idk, again WHY VETEX DOESNT WANT TO ADD STAFFS AND BOOKS?!
btw arcanium weapons casting are going to be like how you are suggesting, they will take a weapon slot and bind to your magic so you can casting it for vanity but if you are a conjurer you can use it to add shapes to your magic spells, like an arcanium bow making a magic blast faster but very very smaller, and you can only bind already existing spells from your magic slot
