Unless I didn’t understand how the system works properly, suggestions get closed automatically 2 days after the last reply. My problem with this is that, as I know, vote don’t have any impact on this.
Considering people generally reply to argue about a suggestion or suggest changes to it, isn’t it weird that a suggestion that got no reply, sometime because nobody had anything to say against it, gets closed both from replies and votes? Again, unless votes do have an impact on this and I’m just dumb, it’s a bit weird that a suggestion that just got voted would get closed only because nobody decided to reply on it, preventing anyone to vote on it again.
Maybe suggestions could close after a specific amount of days, whatever if it got a reply or no (probably longer than 2 days to compensate for the change). They could also not close until a specific amount of time after being voted, like with replies, but that could probably lead to suggestions staying way too long open due to people constantly voting. The first option seems better to me.
