I got this idea from SoundSmith’s TF2 stereotypes series, It’s simple, you choose a magic and create a stereotype based on the magic. (It’s in the title.) You can do more than one magic if you like.

as someone who uses plasma and is bad and pvp and likes verdies, i agree
Iron- you want a gun but WoM doesnt have guns so you have to use iron magic
Water- The rarest kind of player who you underestimate and then he shows you the power of the impact damage water has and demolishes you…or just dies because his magic has no DoT
Sand and Snow- Who are these people again? 
Gold magic: killing npcs is like “Omae wa mou Shinderu” Players are “MmMmMm I’M D E D”
Iron: Goes in slowly but is really hard
light - one of three things: is a meta abuser, loves anime, or is just an edgelord but doesn’t use shadow because they’re a bit more self aware
ice/crystal - really don’t care that the magic sucks and want to use it anyways. For ice, watch out when second magics come because then you’ll need to add “meta abusers” to the stereotype. The generation of the character is key
lightning - A complete wildcard, anyone could be using it
Shadow - For edgelords or AA tryhard veterans
Fire - Generic as hell
Earth - They just do not care, they will kill anyone in their path to get what they want. They’re merciless, brutal, and if you tell them their magic sucks they will crush you under an assault of words after a pvp match no matter the result
Plasma - Kind of a lightning deal but a bit less of a range, much more likely to hit “generic”
Sand - WILL make at least one star wars or naruto reference
Ash - Sort of like light but with a dash of “memelord” added in
Explosion - Either obsessed with destruction or they’re making blast girl
Ink - Someone who participates in the arts
Iron - Earth but more extreme
Glass - Either likes glass as a concept or enjoys loud noises
Gold - Iron but more extreme
Magma - They just don’t exist anymore
Paper - Either a (usually shitty) memelord or an edgelord because bleed, when second magics drop it’ll be an easier tell
Snow - 90% chance when second magics drop they’ll run a snow/ice combo, pretty chill
Wind - Enjoys blowing
Water - Enjoys splashing
Poison - Basically ash but somehow more edgy
Wood - Loves sex jokes, and can be EXTREMELY uncomfortable to be around. They will have magic names like “big balls!” and “Massive wood!” Will use glass when it comes out because it’s a cool magic and not for more sex jokes, definitely.
