Clan Sailcloth Patterns:
Clans are a great way to bring a community together, united under a goal/interest. However, the current in-game clan immersion is lackluster. To fix this issue, I present a simple yet rewarding feature: clan sailcloth patterns. I believe this to be a vital stepping stone into a better clan system that will be implemented in the building update.
What are clan sailcloth patterns?
Clan sailcloth patterns are sails which have the logo of a clan on them. Clan members will be able to purchase and equip these onto their boats, in order to display which clan they are a part of.
How will they work?
Clan owners will be able to upload an image to a small tab in the clan overview section. Their first sailcloth could just be the clan logo, which would be a simple way to introduce them to this process.
If they wish to make more clan sails, they can input an image ID, similar to how you would insert the clan logo. Each clan sail pattern would cost 1,000 galleons to upload, and they would be sold at Thorin’s Refuge. The members could then buy the clan sailcloth for whatever the owner wants the price to be (minimum 50 galleons, maximum 500 galleons).
Optional Feature
A small portion of the revenue will go to the clan bank. If it is full, it will not deposit any money, with a small pop-up saying: Clan Sailcloth revenue unable to be deposited. Take galleons out of the bank or upgrade it.
Possible Issues:
The main issue with this system is that a few players will attempt to bypass the roblox review system and upload inappropriate images onto their flag (such as r34). I have some ideas to fix this, however I want you to decide what would be best.
- No filter; roblox should deal with it
- Moderators check each decal
- An in-game bot does it
- Other (say in comments)

Additionally, players should be able to report any inappropriate images to moderators through Vetex’s server.
