you’re forgetting that in game alchemists or “enchanters” are people who enchant items tho yes i agree imo alchemists should be renamed to “enchanters”
again in ao it has a different definition and it doesn’t stray too far but imo it should be replaced anyway
once again it’s close enough and makes just about enough sense but yeah should be changed
they’re called that because of the old idea for the marketplace which would’ve basically been an auction house and imo in the game at least lore wise it makes sense because the marketplace is a gameplay only thing and in lore the auctioneers actually hold auctions (you can see that at frostmill)
