that would be pretty weird though. like imagine getting used to it. so weird and unnatural, sorta would cause problems by how weird it is.
like so weird.. like i cant fathom how weird it would be if that happened. thats also the weird part of me not being able to fathom. i think weird is subjective but in this case thats weird to say.
what if instead of the class bs, you simply obtained the bonuses that were previously for awakenings at certain stat milestones
250-300 in a single stat for whatever the awakening of that stat would have previously given
125-150 in 2 separate stats would gain imbuements between those specific stats
And guessing for maybe a level 250 awakening
500 in a single stat for the 2nd pure awakening
250 in 2 stats to obtain whatever extra they would normally get
or you could have 125 split between 4 stats to effectively have Savant with imbuements on anything (warlordvant gets locked up for years before being released in a world where everyone else got buffed)
and using old estimates that might no longer be expected[1]
2 stats that would have otherwise been a pure build awakening can be chosen, at 500 each, and a single other stat would be capable of having it’s imbue gained for the other 2 main stats (125, + 75 extra)
Though at the same time, you would lock yourself out of the higher requirement skills and items[2][3]
Probably would have it’s own host of balance issues, but it would prob be even more lore accurate based on how much focus you put towards the different stats
like ancient magics estimate being for level 500, would be abt 1000 put into magic, and losts estimation of 300 would be 600 magic or whichever stat, alongside a whole lot of other skills which would be inaccessible. ↩︎
If the 3rd imbuement option is sacrificed, lost things would be obtainable, otherwise locked off if attempting to go for a 3rd stat or more, and unless a single stat is focused with maybe a single other thing for imbue, ancients are off the table ↩︎
