So there are a few different types of the rare magics. This isn’t an actual distinction but there are mostly; Magics that combine base magics (blizzard, frostmetal), Magics that are more powerful/altered base magics (Diamond, darkness,sun), Magics that focus on a single aspect of a base magic (the prom flame family, and to an extent darkness and death) , and wholly original magics (slash and most of the ancient magics).

Hey I don’t think water was included in storms description… probably for good reason combining water and lighting seems like it would bring a few people to tears.
i want apocalypse bringer for my explosion file but i actually never considered what my lost magic would be, if i ever even bother to get both. maybe slash magic? slash magic is the most interesting lost magic to me and that file will have wind as well at some point so maybe it’ll match

Although more accurately it’s probably be pressure and plant (like the mutation) but that’s stepping into the frontier of mixing base and lost spells.
instead of ink we should just have oil variation for water (yes i know theyre 2 completely seperate things and also oil isnt even that black (i was probably thinking of tar in that regard) but its for the funny)
