Ah damn, I imagine Commodore Kai being the drill sergeant of farming, where he yells at you whenever you trample his crops or mess up. However, he is widely respected and even advises the department of nutrition from time to time.
“Silly Billy over there! What are you doing?”
“Just plowing the field sir”
“I saw you breaking the hoe a moment ago. NOW PEEL 1000 POTATOES AND RAN AROUND THE WHEAT FIELDS 20 TIMES”
