Only the anime adaptation will be counted, the source material will not. If we did it based on the manga, lots of things will be shifted (for example, One Piece being bumped up to S tier and Demon Slayer being bumped down to B tier)
The fandom will be ignored because most animes here would be dropped down to F tier if it was.
that’s basically it let’s go
SSSSS: Kirby Right Back At Ya
Kirby Right Back At Ya: i will personally send you to the corner if you object
S: Hajime no Ippo
Hajime no Ippo: A perfect entry-level anime with fantastic animations, great themes, very interesting story and characters, comedy bits are actual GOLD, SFX and OST are top notch. There are very few to no faults with this anime and is overall, just fantastic.
One Piece: VERY interesting story with some great drama, great comedy, god tier payoffs (oda plans things YEARS in advance), etc. Would easily be an S tier if the anime wasn’t riddled with a shit ton of filler to artificially slow down the pacing so it doesn’t catch up to the manga.
JJBA: pretty good i guess
Demon Slayer: Pretty good in terms of actual story, but the story alone would be at a lower tier. However, elevated to a whole new level due to the animation being exceptional.
DBZ: Very good but has a few flaws keeping it from S tier (i.e inconsistent power scaling).
Rurouni Kenshin: Great anime with strong and deep themes. Story is A tier during its beginning, S tier during Kyoto arc (absolutely fantastic), but is brought down by the third act (all of it is filler since the mangaka was writing the Jinchuu arc, so it couldn’t be animated)
B: DB Super, Overlord
DB Super: Pretty good, but has even more flaws than DBZ to warrant A tier (i.e Jiren).
Overlord: Overpowered protagonist but actually done right. Pretty good worldbuilding (not top tier like One Piece, but still very good) too.
I’ve got a lot but writing it all would cause some sort of confusion in the title and im kinda lazy to get all of the anime’s picture cover to place them all in the rank.
super is B tier (never watched it, but i’ve heard it has a few big flaws), never watched Z but i’ve heard it’s very good
based on what i heard, super B tier Z A tier
wat u think
ok my opinion
rurouni kenshin/samurai X A tier
would be S tier if not for post-kyoto arc being filler (jinchuu act was still being written, couldn’t be animated)
Rurouni Kenshin
sure i agree, put it on tierlist
no i think it’s higher/lower
haven’t watched it

rurouni kenshin/samurai X: trust and betrayal S tier
one of, if not, the BEST OVAs EVER. very deep themes, pristine sound effects, great OST, awesome animation. very little to no flaws
opinion round #2, Hajime no Ippo S tier, OPM (S1) either A or S tier
HNI: great animations, great themes, very interesting story, comedy bits are GOLD, soundtrack/SFX are great, etc.
Hajime no Ippo
sure i agree, put it on there
lower
haven’t watched

OPM: same reasons as demon slayer but story is more engaging/interesting. great story, god tier animation (madhouse did a FANTASTIC job with the fights)
