Basically, whatever spells you guys can imagine, and how they’d work. I wanna see what the community’s thinking up, and see if there’s some good ideas ![]()
low gravity spell. why not.
Insignia (probably lost) - Form a magic circle on the ground that radiates energy into a surrounding area, granting an aura/enchantment style buff to yourself and party members as long as they stay inside its zone. The buff is stronger depending on your proximity to the magic circle, and its area of effect can be adjusted, with smaller areas giving more powerful buffs.
Howitzer (probably rare) - A high-damage, slow blast-like projectile that is affected by gravity. Its weight can be adjusted, with heavier attacks being larger, more damaging, slower, and more affected by gravity.

And somehow it’ll have a significantly lower stat requirement despite being similar in function
Minefield - Lost spell. Creates an area around the user of the spell containing magic landmines that lasts for a while. The amount of landmines correlates to how big the size of the field is. (also less size = more dmg as per usual) At the lowest size there’ll still be atleast a few landmines. Detonates on contact (could also be if you’re simply above it but it will deal less dmg with this option)
Cast up - your casting speed increases by your magic speed multipler
Conjure: wisps - summons small flying creatures made out of your magic, they’re only attack is a very small blast and they’re weaker than an elemental, you can summon way more of them tho
Conjure: lesser golem - summons a creature similar to an elemental that has more health and uses strength techniques

Honestly that’s not a bad idea. Gives people more options to summon, and all together would make a necromancer loadout. Watch someone try to become Jin Woo and say “Arise”, then all these come at their opponent WHILE you’re using Annihilation and Ray…
This is lowkey a good idea, specifically for areal denial and case prevention. I think it would be way more useful if it can detonate if they’re above it (to a mild degree,) because who really fights on the ground these days (ahem… dodge reflex, hover, sword step?)

This is all ready a confirmed spell I just wanna theorize how it’ll work
Magic Arm- a passive spell that when active makes your spell costed higher but deals more dmg as well. In the spell menu you’d choose which arm or both to replace and when the spell isn’t active you’d naturally be missing that arm or both but activating the passive forms the magic limbs plus the effects granted by the spell
As a bonus maybe the spell when active replaces any limb you’re missing due to limb lost the spell also replaces them though I dunno if this mechanically possible but if so makes it a must have for conj

i would just like it if they actually had gear scaling as the spell still feels very weak (armour literally ends up with 0 effect on summons) ![]()
more like the magic rain from the dark sea, just not as huge and fast but with more raining balls

domain expansion - create a domain expansion of your own magic yadda yadda jjk something something
Grapple: Fire a ray of energy from your firearm that when hit, lets you swing in an arc similar to the Climbing Gear’s grappling harpoon. Can be repeatedly used, but accuracy will decrease exponentially every use. Draws an enemy in when hit.
Not technically a spell but i think it’d be cool for weapons builds to be Spider Man.
