I hate the dark sea so much
it was fun for 1-2 hours on its release day when it was fresh and mysterious but beyond that it is just a soul-draining tedium
you have to go through like 20 minutes of empty sailing just to begin your dark sea run, even with a fully speed maxed brig. that means reaching over 140 speed using maxed out deckhands, a warship sail, brisk hull armor, and no cannons.
The randomly generated islands which are meant to be the meat of dark sea expeditions aren’t even worth your time because the loot is extremely sparse and carrying dark sealed chests back and forth across the entire island takes far longer than just sailing out for another siren rock
We haven’t had any changes at all to water poisoning nor hecate essence even though their current implementations are honestly worse for the game than not existing at all
Low or medium height islands are fine
Mountain and extreme can suck my manhood
Oh, golly gee, the joy of spending 15 minutes climbing up a spire to find 9 chests and 3 sealed chests, just enough to make you need two rounds
