You may or may not look for a merchant ship for specific items like potion ingredients and such (Perhaps useful items in future updates), besides I’d like to believe there would be some indicators to identify them if they are hiding or actual civilians (Lower tier enemies = More obvious)
They don’t hopefully, they’d spawn like merchants with indicators.
It could be done like wearing cloaks and capes with some sort of insignia/crest that indicates that they are assasins. We have this system when we enter Sameria since we killed King Calvus
