I was scrolling through the trello and saw that ancient magics are very hard to obtain ,and that they don’t use creatable skills. So do we have to find a scroll to acquire each individual spell or will we use one scroll and all the spells will be given?
I presume it would be similar to aa where there’s a preset move set for that magic, but if you have lost spells you can use those on the magic and customize those
yep you have to find every spell you want for the ancient magic to use it
Yeah seems like the only way to use a move with ancient magic is to find a lost spell scroll. This may become clearer further down the line
Not sure this is how it works but I always thought you’d just need to find multiple ancient magic scrolls of the same magic to “advance” in it. Use it once and you get the first spell, second time let’s you use the second spell, etc. I don’t imagine using it once will unlock all the spells or that each spell has it’s own scroll (if so gl finding a complete set of one ancient magic).

assuming the rates of ancient and lost haven’t been changed:
Ancient magics: 1/40,000 (speculated) there is 12 of them currently which gives us 1/480,000 for a specific one
this is what i got from when i calculated it (i think there’s like 1-3 more new ancients now maybe) and just getting a specific one u want is a yikes as is. it’s more likely to be ancient spells that are a little higher than lost spells or as rare as lost magics or smth, idk.

fr i really hope they’re not as rare and it’s likely to be the case since it was said around a year or two ago
weren’t legendary charts only obtainable from fishing? Pretty sure there will be other means to acquire scrolls other than fishing, like quests. It’ll probably just take longer but offer a higher chance to get it (like 1/10,000 for a 4-6 minute quest or smth).
Mm idk if that would be a good idea cause one ancient scroll is rare enough as is. Finding almost 10 ancient scrolls, all being the same element, would probably take multiple lifetimes

and yeah i’m aware that there’s more options that bring out better chances, we have the dark seas after all, which progressively gets harder the more u go in. as for a repeatable quest it’s unlikely to happen and just be the normal back and fourth grind
I wouldn’t be surprised if they only use Lost Spell scrolls since so many of the planned ones we know are similar to the normal spells (unless he removed them in the private trello).

Burst Attack, Barrage, Strong Blast, Explosive Blast, and Locking Blast = Blast

Isn’t that kind of the whole point of Ancient Magics? I don’t see Death Magic doing average damage.
