I can be casually navigating the forum/posting a comment and then suddenly it’ll appear with a 503 error which can only be corrected by refreshing and re-doing the captcha.

Not entirely sure, if anyone else has this issue go ahead and post on this.
i was interested about this error and searched it up and apparently it is a error to do with the server not ready to take the request which could indicate a overload
But are mass amounts of people getting this?? I have not gotten it once.

well we are using not dedicated servers. As long as your not experiencing it every second it should be fine.

Yeah, it’s not every second. It might happen 2/3 times within the space of 10 minutes or something but it doesn’t make the forums unusable. Just thought it was worth reporting.
i noticed it would only happen for me at times that it is busy on the forums and when i have not refreshed the tab in a long time
