The content creator community for the game has grown quite large, and the addition of the content creator role in the Discord server was quite nice.

Could content creators with the official Discord server role be given a title in-game that grants a limited-distance free cam for easier recording? There is already a free cam system in Elysium, and it’s extremely useful for taking cinematic shots.

Voxlblade has a content creator title that functions just like this.

  1. The freecam system isn’t designed to be usable in the main sea because there are some issues that i dont believe can be fixed that come from it
  2. Freecam would be too unfair of an advantage in MG (spying on players, finding secrets, going out of bounds, finding hecate, or maybe even the epicenter, etc), so it’s gatekept to devs and some helpers

I imagine that it would have a fairly short range if added at all. Definitely not an infinite range like we have in Elysium.

That would probably be too much work for the current freecam system (which is just roblox’s default developer one) that would only go to a handful of people for a specific purpose (and wouldn’t solve the aforementioned other issues)

while I can see your second point, saying that freecam ‘can’t’ work in the main game due to ‘unfixable’ bugs is incredibly hard to believe.

If freecam is getting added, it should not be gatekept for content creators.

Maybe if that sandbox version of AO I suggested gets added, freecam makes it in there, but I doubt the main game gets it
