Could “Magic weapons” exist?

People who “can’t use magic” (which I assume means they don’t have enough spirit energy to cast magic circles) probably don’t have enough spirit energy anyways to conjure magic through magic weapons

This is just Exalted magic weapons (IE Morrock’s Sword, Theos’ Staff, The Sunken Sword, Etc)

you can’t cast a blast by holding them but you can use the magic in the weapon with skills

Those weren’t blessed by gods though, those are weapons that absorbed enough magic from their users to permanently imbue them, I’m talking about let’s assume an alternate universe to the AU where humans got spirit energy instead of magic, could gods imbue an artifact with chaos energy to create a magic weapon for like reverse oracles?

Humans would still be able to use magic given the recent changes to the lore

I don’t think there’d be much point to gods blessing weapons with regular elemental magic instead of spirit energy, spirit energy is more “exclusive” and can do the things that elemental magic does while elemental imbuement is already achievable by humans.

Magic circles ARE the magic weapons

Nobody understands my point here, I’m not asking if they are. Practical, I’m saying, considering the differences between creation and chaos, would they be POSSIBLE.

No, because they would literally be reliant on constant Magic Energy being pumped into them for them to work.

This is literally worthless, because you can just take an Arcanium Base and pump Magic into it, and that’ll keep the Magic Energy for far longer.

So TLDR: No, because if you aren’t holding it/in contact with it, it would just erase itself.

What the fuck, are we talking about objects blessed with magic energy or objects that are entirely made out of magic?

I am lost.

I know what you are saying, I am saying people who CANT USE MAGIC (ie casting magic circles) would be unable to use “magic weapons”

And the people capable of using magic weapons wouldn’t because it’s redundant

For some reason these guys are speaking about objects fully formed of Magic, which is just worthless, because they’re also objectively just weaker than Arcanium Weapons, which would apply both Magic Energy and Physical Force (slicing, blunt force etc)

No :sob: we are talking about spirit weapons but instead of them firing spirit energy it’s magic like fire

magic circles…?

That’s what I’m saying :sob::sob::sob::sob:

So what’s causing this whole ass mini argument dawg :sob:

Idk the idea of “magic weapons” is such a redundant idea because of magic circles :sob:

Arcanium weapons themselves are not that strong. They are strong when they are turned into exalted weapons, but thats may take years. And if you lose this one in fight, its will be a huge loss, I would say even pain. While objects made of magic can be easily recreated, so… all of this is really depends.

Arcanium Weapons themselves ARE strong, because not only do they apply the effect of the imbued Magic, they’re also amazing when it comes to bypassing the Physical Defense of Curse Users.

Even the weakest of Arcanium Weapons can harm Curse Users, which is highly valuable in a world where the greatest warriors of each nation have curses.

If a human can do it a god probably can
