Alright, the previous suggestion was said to be far too long for others to read, here’s a shorter one.

Crafted Quartz is currently pointless to use by anybody but Warrior

Have you all ever cooked several Quartz crystals together? You get those from the Dark Sea, and I heard not many players are frequent visitors there, but this isn’t what this topic is made to solve.

These are the Silent Blades - one of several weapons that can both be used by Hybrids and have a Quartz socket in them. I’ve put a greenish quartz in them, and this is their attack colour.

And this is the same attack, but with the Spirit imbue. Notice how green isn’t to be seen anywhere.

Imbues give stat changes to the weapon, and players usually benefit from those. Quartz is a purely vanity change, therefore players are free to choose, whether they socket a crystal or not. Therefore, if a player inserted a quartz into their weapon, they probably did that to see the quartz’s colour.

There was never a good point to have imbues override the quartz. If a player wants to see the imbue, they can just not equip the crystal, and not do the grind to gather quartz from the Dark Sea. But the player did that grind, therefore they must be rewarded with cool, colourful weapon skills.

Now, there is one more thing to be addressed. Different relics add on other effects, and magics tend to grant the imbued weapons their particles. I think those can remain as a separate thing and don’t get overridden. Therefore, as an example, these Crystal Orb-imbued Silent Blades will have their blue Spirit Energy colour switched to green completely by the Greenish Crafted Quartz I inserted into them, but the yellow aura from Crystal Orb will remain.

You are in the correct path BiologLOL. I found this suggestion to be more readable, however it still had some extra sentences and nuisances overall. Keep up the good work :+1:

As per your suggestion, it is completely reasonable and would be a good change.

please bro I spent so long making quartz to match my armor colors only for it to be completely drowned out by purple clouds. let me be a poison conjurer AND have pretty colors pLEAASEE

Oh hey my suggestion reincarnated

I’m Ve(te)xed that Quartz just does nothing but change flaunt color. I wan’t my Knight to have “green Spirit” and this should’ve been the closest I get.

Even if, for whatever reason, we can’t have it exactly like this— it should still have some kind of effect.

Yeah, this would be pretty nice

Like, why give us vanity option if the combat option overrides the vanity
