Create Your Own Rare Technique

Ambush

“Activate to make your next successful hit mark foes hit by the attack, activate again to teleport behind them. If multiple targets are marked, the target closest to the center of your screen will be targeted.”

High Strength requirement. Buff would work on skills outside of the fighting style Ambush was activated on, would want a restriction for M1s so you can’t use a musket to mark without having enough Weapon stat. Medium energy cost for both stages, fairly long cooldown.

Customization

  • Animation for activating/Visual effect for buff and mark
  • Buff Duration - How long the first stage of the skill will last
  • Mark Duration - How long the mark will remain on a target
  • Distance - Max distance you can re-activate Ambush from
  • Ultimate Art - Increased durations and distance

Ideally would have to balance the customizations, so if you go for Distance, you have to drop the other two (50%/50%/50% vs 100%/30%/20% for example)

Status Duration jewels will increase the duration of the mark, Potency increases buff duration? (Not sure, it doesn’t increase durations of things like Aura) Attack Size and Agility increases max distance.

Falcon

Charge up and perform a devastating short-range attack, dealing immense damage. Can be charged longer than other techniques.

160 Strength.

After charge, wind up and perform a powerful singular strike in the direction you’re aiming at, with a notably short attack range but very strong damage. Moderate cooldown. At higher Power, enabling knockback will force targets in the direction of the knockback and creating a
shockwave upon hitting a surface (similar to being thrown to the ground by a grab move).

Customizable Features:

  • Wind Up Time (A longer wind-up post technique charge will increase the damage)
  • Strike Size (Slightly adjusts the size of the strike hitbox, lower sizes will hit less people but increase knockback and power)
  • Knockback (toggleable)
  • Animation (the default is a punch, for obvious reasons)
  • Ultimate Art (also incredibly adds to the visual effect of the technique)
