I really liked @tong’s fan art that he made of me and @KwispyKage’s new Tobi design for my upcoming comic. I in fact loved it so much that I just had to use the image to create a comic panel. I feel the art Tong posted showcases what I am going for with this comic, so I wanted to emphasize that. Here is just a taste of what the comic is planned to look and feel like. The first chapter is still a good ways away from releasing (about maybe a month or longer) but I really wanted to do something like this. Keep in mind that my comics art style will probably differ from this artwork, as @KwispyKagewill be 100% in charge of all the art. (ok ok that’s it no more posts for today)
Again I want to thank @tong for his amazing fan art. Thank you, Tong, and I hope I did your art justice in this mock panel I created.
Bro I can’t wait to start putting it together. All I have now is the story, and I have started scripting. AAAAA I hope it turns out good.
After scripts are done, then we will create rough sketches of each panel layout. After that kwispy will draw the layout and art and then done. Pretty much.
I get what you did. But you did honestly just rotate the image and add some effects to Tongs drawing (I’m not saying the art is bad, but it’s pretty much the same panel 4 times)
Well yeah, I think anyone who sees this can tell what I did, but yes, it is the same image reused and edited 4 times. That was the whole point, taking something and adding to it while also trying to stay consistent with what the original image represents.
