Not sure, but I think that getting caught in whirlpools stops all ship movement besides turning. I’d assume this would also apply to a rapidly falling Skyship, so instead of plopping to the bottom of the sea like it usually would, it just stopped falling once it hit the Whirlpool.
Either that or someone decided to be funny when they used the naming plaque.
And the wanted poster thing is an old glitch, just displays their level as higher than it really is. Still funny to see, though.
