This is yet another feature that is not mine, instead I’m posting in the name of @StockSounds who made the full idea. If you have any questions, ask him.
The idea is simple. NPCs get badass titles, why don’t we?
Mountainbreaker, Lion of Ravenna, Waltz of Death, where’s ours?
There would be a special one-of-a-kind shop owned by Juraserva, since they’re all about publicity and such.
This shop allows you to customize and purchase title scrolls for a fee of galleons, but it’s not that simple. You have to unlock pieces of a title.
I did this part of the idea similar to Animal Crossing New Horizons titles, where there are two pieces per title, and you unlock each piece by doing various things.
Open 10,000 chests? You get the Treasure/Hunter title pieces!
Hunt 100 bounties? You get the Bounty/Hunter title pieces! Some titles can give the same piece twice, but it must include at least one unique one.
Defeat Architect Merlot? You get the Waltz/of Death title pieces!
Collect all of General Argos’ boss drops? You get the Lion/of Ravenna title pieces!
Struck by lightning? Lightning Rod title piece!
You may be thinking “This would make the existing title less unique!!!” nuh uh uh! The old titles get some too!
Bronze Sea Explorer: Bronze/Sea Explorer/Explorer
Bronze Sea Abolitionist: Bronze/Sea Abolitionist/Abolitionist
Epicenter Explorer: Epicenter/Explorer/of the Epicenter
Aristocrat: Aristocrat
And of course, the rarer titles get their respective colors, which can be applied to other titles. Epicenter Explorer gets a purple, Bronze Sea explorer gets a bronze color, easy.
Technically Nimbus Abolitionist, and Bronze Diver, both give Nimbus and Diver, which takes over Nimbus Diver, but either Vetex can get more creative with names, or we can just say that it comes with a different color.
You would be able to toggle whether or not your title starts with “The” or not.
Both slots would come with an empty slot option, but you can only have one slot empty in each title.
This allows for titles to maintain rarity and be a cool collectible at the same time as making them customizable and fun!
You may call me the “Epicenter of Death” and nothing else!!!
