So vetex in the past has talked about potentially updating/changing/adding things to customization like undershirts, body types. This would always get pushed aside because it was a low priority thing. With the new devs seemingly more focused on QoL I figured I could resuggest some of the ideas brought before
Hairs
Summary
So the first part is always more hairs, who doesn’t want more hairs though this isn’t the main point.
So vetex for FR changed some of the hairs for a more muted and realistic feel. I suggest either A. Adding more colors as more options are good or B. The better option of a color wheel. I dunno if vetex just hates those or ao somehow can’t but giving the players freedom like that with hair color would do so much
Body Types
Summary
This point was more seriously brought up when some shirts gained boobs. Some people like playing feminine characters and would be a nice freedom to allow none body changing tops to have a boob option. You could also throw in the muscle gamepass here if you want.
Faces
Summary
We have in the past got more hair options but never face options even though you can see some NPCs in gave with unique face options. We should have more scar options, maybe make scars separate option to choose from, we should have eye lashes as an option for again the feminine characters we see eye lashes on female NPCs after, and lastly more eye colors or even a color wheel for them as again more options for character creation is good.
Under Shirts
Summary
Vetex has spoken about this one before but the ability to change the undershirt on tops like the chainmail on the iron armor. I guess this would be a slot in the vanity option and you can just put a valid top in it to change it or completely remove the top using your default top instead.
Beast Defense
Summary
I won’t suggest removing this even if I believe it should be. Just move it to your actual equipment instead of being tied to vanity there’s zero reason beside immersion that beast defense should be tied to vanity.
These are all the current options I can think of to help expand the character creation in this game as I think most people would agree vanity is quite important for the game
