Slightly unrelated[1], but it’s super strange that rarely, weekly chests give a morbillion (15) Dark Sealed Chests, do they seriously not want people into the Dark Sea?

Fleets made them obsolute already, so the only reason to do Dark Sea is for pickups and npc drops

It’s honestly a win for us! With this lag I have, I had to enduremy ship being slowed so much to the point it essentially was slower than a rowboat, I had to spend at least an hour in Layer 0 before going to insanity 1. Only to leave the dark sea with 2 chests and my ship in crippling condition.
I love FPS-dependent code! I love coding in a way that will eventually hurt my game’s experience!

I still wonder why jewel quest is even…a daily? Like, it costs 80 drachma to get a gem, so thats 80 x 20 = 1600 worth of gems needed?
Sure, you get money back by actually making jewels, but still…
20 jewels bought for 1600 galleons
5 x 20 = 100 bones (100 galleons)
And perfect bursting onyx/sunset sells for 143
( 143 x 20 ) - ( (20 x 80) + ( 5 x 20) ) = 1160
Spent 1700 galleons, earned 2860, pure profit of 1160
I think they wanted you to use the gems that you find in chests and in various other activities for free, not the ones you buy.
You’d probably have to grind for >1 hour to get 20 gems without luck

Speaking of tho, is there like, any guesses as to why bounty npc spawnrates plummeted after F.R.?
I dont really think its intentional since newer servers have normal spawnrates, but its never been an issue before.
Its just time bug, server starts dying after some time.
They (alongside good npcs, enemy towers and minibosses but not rivals for the most part) just stop spawning in older servers.
For me, roughly after 6-ish hours things stop working. But I have heard it can happen earlier
If it’s a game breaking bug that plagues every server, why hasn’t it been fixed yet? Why keep adding features if they also have a chance of getting plagued by the time bug?
They tried and it only pushed it back to a bit later.
It used to be worse (cough cough alligator gar quest in early fr)
