Damage affinities on weapons are wacky

i assume theres some logical reason for it.
i dont mind the system itself honestly, i just wish it was explained or shown somewhere ingame

It is so that weapon skills can be modified dynamically based on the differences in “weight” between weapons. For example, whirlwind on a colossal cleaver weapon would get more extreme modification than that on a heavy bladed.

But either way it should be communicated clearly in-game. Maybe it will happen for full release.

Why can’t the weapon stats show this though

isn’t that what the existing and visible weapon stat affinity is for tho? why have an invisible second stat affinity under the existing one?

Tier count. Not amount of equippable skills.

Grey filling = Poor Quality tier cap (TIER 2)
Baby blue filling = Average Quality tier cap (TIER 3)
Bronze filling = Good Quality tier cap (TIER 7)
